Owned and managed by the Burke brothers, Eric and Tony, Hardcore Tennis strings and sells a complete line of racquets and tennis wear. The difference between Hardcore Tennis and your average sporting goods store that also sells racquets is personal service. These guys seem to be interested in you personally, interesting in finding out which type of equipment is right for you. Both of these brothers are seriously good players and both are knowledgeable concerning stringing tensions, racquet types, and clothing styles that may suit the individual player. They demonstrate their products at local schools and in the community and are active in local tournaments. They have a web site (www.hardcoretenniscolumbia.com) and sell their products online. They do stringing within the hour when possible and will even hit with customers when time is available.
